History
Telegraph Cove has a vibrant history that is ever-evolving. The
‘Original’ General Store was located where our current Killer Whale
museum is located today. Telma Lorraine Burton was the first
manager of The General Store. She became a fixture there for more
than four decades and was greatly loved. The General Store then moved
to the building where Tide Rip Grizzly tours office is today.
You can find us now in our final and current location which is right next
to Sally’s Snack Shack, which is world-famous for its specialty coffees!
